If you reside in an area designated by the Disaster Relief Act applied by the Cabinet Office, Government of Japan or experience any issue with your Sony Bank account due to other disasters outside such areas, please contact our English help desk.

Fund transfers to other financial institutions using chat-based identity verification
If you have lost your cash card due to a disaster, Sony Bank will verify your identity via our English help desk Online live chat service and transfer funds to an account in your name at another financial institution, up to a maximum of your account balance or 100,000 yen, whichever is smaller.
For example:
- Your balance is 60,000 yen: A maximum of 60,000 yen can be transferred
- Your balance is 500,000 yen: A maximum of 100,000 yen can be transferred
Waiver of issue fee for lost cash cards
If you have lost your cash card due to a disaster, Sony Bank will reissue your card free of charge.
