Notes on registering your email address

Sony Bank sends transaction related emails as well as other promotional emails concerning new products, seminars, campaigns and more to registered email address 1. Please note the following points to register your email address.

• You may only use single-byte alphanumeric characters. Registration may fail in the following cases.

  Case 1:

  When the following symbols are included:
  　(　)　<　>　[　]　:　;　\　,　$　&　^　`　|　’　”　!

  Case 2:

  When a period directly precedes @.

  Case 3:

  When more than one period appears in succession before @.

• Email addresses with a cell phone service provider's domain name may not accept all messages we sent. You may have to adjust receiving character length. Also, if you have set up a spam filter, etc. please allow the reception of emails from the following domains.

  Domain name:

  • @sonybank.net
  • @dc.sonybank.net
  • @ma.sonybank.net
  • @ma1.sonybank.net

  Also, URL links do not work with email addresses that contain a cell phone service provider's domain name.

  Please understand that it may take longer if you have forgotten your password because you have to go through different procedures.

• We advise you to refrain from registering a webmail address because webmail services tend to delete emails left unused for a certain period and have a higher risk of someone else recycling your old (terminated) email address. If you decide to use a webmail address, please understand the risk mentioned above and register at your own risk.
