[Important Notice] New mobile phone carrier plans and email address

New reduced rate plans by three major mobile phone companies (NTT docomo, Softbank and au) have recently been announced.
The new plans- "ahamo", "LINEMO" and "povo" do not come with an email address associated with the carrier.
Please see below for examples of carrier provided email domains:
NTT docomo: @docomo.ne.jp
Softbank: @softbank.ne.jp, @i.softbank.jp, @vodafone.ne.jp
au: @au.com, @ezweb.ne.jp

If you are currently using a carrier associated email address as your registered email address for your Sony Bank account and plan to switch your mobile phone plan to one of the new reduced rate plans, you will need to update your account with a valid email address. To change your registered email address, please sign in to your account on our English online banking and go to "Setting"- "Updating customer information".
